Visit Allendale Bakery:

• On foot:  just along the river path (down The Peth and turn onto the path before Bridge End) about half a mile from the centre of Allendale, or make a circuit of it and continue along to 5 Lane Ends at Thornleygate, turning left to go down the hill, over Bridge End, and back up The Peth to the centre of Allendale.
• By car:  from Hexham, take the right fork just after Catton and follow the road past Allendale Sports Club grounds, over the bridge at Allen Mill and turn immediately left into the developing Allen Mill Regeneration site
• By public transport:  from Hexham train station, catch the 622 bus to Allenheads.  Dismount at the stop just before the road forks into Allendale, and walk along the right fork past Station Garage, Allendale Sports Ground, over the bridge at Allen Mill, and into the Allen Mill site.
