Autumn Breadmaking Courses

We’re delighted to announce our series of Breadmaking Courses for Autumn 2012, to be held in our newly appointed bakery up in the idyllic fellside of Sparty Lea, with all baking in our exceptional wood-fired oven.

Our Registration/Booking  Form is now available below, but just for quick perusal here are  the dates, the course fees, and the terms of reference for the following courses:

Breadmaking Course Dates and Fees:

  • Wednesday 12th September:  Breadmaking for Beginners.  £80.
  • Wednesday 19th September:  French Breads.  £85.
  • Wednesday 26th September:  Sourdough Techniques.  £80.
  • Saturday 29th September:  Breadmaking for Beginners.  £80. [Fully Booked]
  • Wednesday 3rd October:  Italian Breads.  £85.
  • Wednesday 10th October:  Sourdough Techniques.  £80.
  • Saturday 13th October:  Breadmaking for Beginners.  £80. [Fully Booked]
  • Wednesday 24th October:  French Breads.  £85.
  • Wednesday 7th November:  Italian Breads.  £85.
  • Wednesday 5th December:  Festive Breads.  £90. [Please note change of date!]

Details of French and Italian Breads:

Our French Breads courses include:  baguettes, fougasse, pissaladière, brioche, croissants and pain de campagne (sourdough).

Our Italian Breads courses include:  ciabatta, focaccia, pizza, pugliese, grissini and fresh pasta.

Terms of Reference:

We are delighted to receive enquiries as to the availability of any and all of these courses — our offerings have been over-subscribed very quickly so it’s important to contact us to determine availability (by telephone on 01434 685047;  by email:  info@allendalebakery.com).    Our courses provide expert one-to-one tuition with a maximum of four participants.

We regret that we will only be able to accept a booking for our courses upon receipt of full payment in advance at the point of booking;  all course fees are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.   Payment may be made by cheque (payable to Allendale Bakery Ltd), by debit/credit card or PayPal,  or by cash.  We do reserve the right  to cancel any course, in which case we will immediately return all fees received.
